As for me ... I am an American expat, first lived in the UK, then transfered to Hong Kong for a couple of years, now in New Zealand.

From SF, CA. Left in 2000 for Nepal & India, ended up working in Switzerland for a while and now getting my Masters in Montreal. I think I'm an expat cubed at this point... I;d love to try New Zealand or Southeast Asia next.

I see you are from Marin ... which part?
I spent my high school & college years in Mill Valey and have lived in San Rafael, Fairfax, and Novato over the years.
      What was Nepal like?

Hey, I'm also an American living in Montreal (where I study at UQAM). I have lived in France and Israel, originally from Texas but lived in New York City for about 7 years. I would love to settle down in Paris in a few years...

I'm from Golden, CO. Grew up military brat, moving all around, but always on the adopted US soil of military bases. I've lived all over the US, and now my family and I are in the process of moving to Christchurch, New Zealand from Washington state.
Since we're doing it totally civilian its proving to be an entirely different experience!!
