I guess a good place to start is with a short version of the story: I'm Irish, and live and work in Sweden. I moved here at the end of 2001 with my then fiancée (we're married now). She is Swedish. I have never yet felt "homesick" for Ireland, but I do occasionally visit an Irish pub here in Malmö.
